Legacy of Love is a non-profit organization which exists to promote the socio-humanitarian well-being of African communities through social projects. At the heart of our mission are the people of Eastern Congo.
The Democratic Republic of the Congo is filled with rich resources, rolling hills, and a beautiful community of people. But despite a surrounding of abundant natural resources, many families have been devastated by years of civil war that forced them deep into poverty. The oil and minerals lining this land have been pillaged, leaving locals some of the poorest people in the world. There isn’t enough food for the families in some areas, and their water isn’t safe to drink, either. Without schooling, women and young girls are the most vulnerable to violence.
These communities are ready for change. The transformation of a village from suffering to a joyful, abundant, and free life is only possible with your help.
Our Vision
To provide support to people affected by conflict, war, and violence through charity and sharing the Love of God.
To help orphaned children, widowed women, and vulnerable people by building health centers and Day Care Centers. We envision initiating income-generating and job-creating activities such as agriculture, livestock, carpentry, IT, and sewing.
Our Passion
Nutritious food. Shelter. Clean water. A decent education. Access to health care. And a safe and secure environment. All are fundamental for a life free from hunger and poverty. Yet millions of people can’t afford them.
